The city of Victorville is 2,726 feet above sea level and it’s located in the high desert, the climate provides a taste of all seasons, from winter snow and crisp fall air to spring blossoms and summer sunshine. The weather is usually delightful and varies depending on the time of year. Temperatures range from below freezing up to 111 degrees in the summer. The annual rainfall in the desert is about 3.8 inches a year and features very little humidity year round.

The city of Victorville was incorporated in 1962, as a general law city with a population of approximately 8,110 and an area of 9.7 square miles. As of 2016, the City’s population was estimated to be 122,265 and the area was 73.89 square miles. These figures indicate the City has grown substantially in its history as a municipality. Prior to incorporation, the community had a history which goes back over 100 years.
